Confessions of a Teenage Knitting Freak

Do you ever have those days where you feel like you just HAVE to knit something? If not, then you're probably okay. If yes, BE WARNED! This desire will consume you. I spent the better part of fall making Christmas gifts for 18 people, and I'm still going. I don't know why it's so appealing... Perhaps my creative spirit is to blame. The disbelief and amazement when you finish a hat and say, "I made that...?" is a sensation that few other experiences provide. And as a disclaimer, I would like to make sure that everyone here knows that I: a) still have a social life, and b) am desperate for someone with some good pointers.  There will be more pictures to come, I assure you. A blog? Oh, boy...

I never thought the day would come when I, Mr. Once A Year Journal Entry, would decide to commit to a blog. And yet, here I am. Though I may have to brush up on photography; all these other blogs have pictures left and right. A picture's worth a thousand words, after all. Figuratively speaking. If I could, I would just submit a J-PEG for my 1,000 word essay due next Monday. If only....

Well, I don't have much time at the moment... Yoga begins in 20 minutes. I shall return, after a little physical exercise and a quick trip to Border's for "Blogspot for Dummies."
